It is a rare occation but a few of the girls and I went to lunch today. We tyicpally go to a really great Chinese restraunt. As I was getting ready to go, we checked the ol' bank account to make sure we were good to go... I'm glad I was prompted to look because our insurance company (will remain nameless) double drafted our account. Which obviously overdrafted our account.
I had already made the plans in advance to go to lunch so... I knew I had 6 bucks and some change in my wallet so I figured I'd make that work. I get to the restraunt and was pleased to see that their lunch special was $6.25. I went to pay my bill and I litterally had exactly what my ticket cost. The other girls tipped a little extra to make that part up, but it's amazing to me how God provides exactly what we need sometimes...
My Fortune Cookie told me: Treat yourself to something of quality. You deserve it.
Interesting!! Does God have a hand in these messages?? Quality typically takes a back seat in our daily purchases to make a buck stretch! I don't have anything on the wish list I can't live without, but the whole "you deserve it" message was nice to get! :o)
